About the show
Jimmy Love: The Ultimate Tribute to Sir Elton John
Regarded across the UK and internationally as the definitive tribute to Sir Elton John, Jimmy Love brings an extraordinary blend of world-class musicianship, theatrical flair, and sheer charisma to the stage.
As the celebrated star of the smash-hit nationwide touring theatre production The Rocket Man, Jimmy has performed to packed 2,000-seat venues, including prestigious appearances in London’s West End (Adelphi Theatre), The Liverpool Empire, and major concert halls across the country.
What sets Jimmy apart is authenticity. There are no vocal shortcuts: every soaring falsetto, bluesy run, and dynamic modulation is 100% live, matched by his virtuosic live grand piano playing that captures Elton’s signature rhythmic drive and classical touch. Supported by rich, professional studio backing tracks, he creates an arena-sized soundscape while preserving the intimacy of an up-close performance.
Beyond the music, Jimmy embodies the iconic theatricality of the Rocket Man himself. Audiences are treated to dazzling, flamboyant costume changes, fabulous sparkling eyewear, and infectious warmth between songs. From timeless piano ballads like Your Song, Tiny Dancer, and Rocket Man to high-energy dancefloor anthems like I’m Still Standing, Crocodile Rock, and Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting, Jimmy Love delivers a passionate, joyous celebration of one of music’s greatest legends.
