About the show
LCoM Alumnus John is an established multi-genre Guitarist, Composer and Educator with credits including Russell Watson, Sting, Alex James, Travis, Jane McDonald and Laura Wright. With his Quartet, John draws influence from legends such as Metheny, Scofield, Dave Holland, Kenny Wheeler alongside many other contemporary jazz greats.
Expect an exciting mix of lyrical melodies, rich harmonies, and dynamic improvisation and extraordinary axemanship.

John Bailey Quartet is currently one of the most exciting quartets in the Northwest. The group consists of some of the most in-demand and widely respected Jazz musicians in the Northwest. The quartet led by local guitarist John Bailey features Richard Iles (trumpet), Gavin Barras (bass) and Steve Hanley (drums).
