About the show
The best live comedy every Friday! Established in 1986, The Comedy Cellar is the UK's longest-running comedy club outside of London.
Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.
Featuring
Pierre Hollins
A veteran of the comedy circuit and a regular at Jongleurs and The Comedy Store, described variously as 'far-fetched and semi-dangerous' and 'silly and daft'. Watch out for his bizarre mixture of stand up and song, including his one string electric squash racquet! His 'songs' are jokes that rhyme, set to a guitar backbeat and cover topics from love and hate, to sex and politics. With a totally original voice he delivers his material with charm and irrelevance. '... the amiable Pierre Hollins with his compelling chatty style and absurd guitar posturing... With a totally original voice he delivers his material with charm and irrelevance...' (Funhouse Comedy).

Bennett Arron
The only Jewish Welsh comedian on the circuit, Bennett Arron is also a producer, director and writer and has been described as a cross between the paranoid angst of Woody Allen and the colloquial valley humour of Max Boyce. Also a trained actor, he takes command of the stage and his humour veers between obsessed anxiety and natural occurrences; with his contagious laugh he lights up any room. 'One of the best gagsmiths on the circuit... a Welsh Seinfeld' (The Guardian) 'Genuinely original and funny' (The Times) 'Hilarious... clever wit... razor sharp' (The Standard) 'Wildly talented' (Chortle) 'Had the room creased up' (The Scotsman).

Tom Toal
Comedian, writer and actor from the town of Bexleyheath, South East London. 'Toal's ease of interacting with the audience is a true talent' (Hairline) 'Funny and touching. Winning over his audience with charm, genuine depth of feeling, and free tiny yoghurts, Toal painted an impressive, and at times, disturbing picture of a man on the edge... humour from the heart' (Three Weeks) 'Master of storytelling' (<a href="http://www.PunchlineUK.wordpress.com)" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.PunchlineUK.wordpress.com)</a> 'You might find yourself taking a paracetemol to kill the pain in your jawline afterwards' (<a href="http://www.ShortCom.co.uk)" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.ShortCom.co.uk)</a> 'We forget the misery and cold of the outside as the Tom Toal comedy glow warms us all' (Kate Copstick) 'Touching addition to the Daniel Kitson-esque heart-on-sleeve comedy sub genre' (List).
