Featuring - Dana Alexander

Dana Alexander appearing at this event

The only black female comedian on the circuit in Canada, Dana's comedic style is both refreshing and irreverent, drawing her material from her diverse lifestyle, her gay friends and her crazy Jamaican family. Adept, charming and astute, she is warmly funny with an impishly sarcastic sense of humour. This is a lady not to be missed.

'Like a gift from the Comedy Gods' (The Herald)

'An ebullient and instantly likable presence on stage' (Arts Desk)

'... forthright and funny' (Funhouse Comedy CLub).

The Halls of Ridiculous

The terrific twosome combine lightning-fast improvised comedy with high-octane character sketches. But here's the twist - every bit of hilarity is conjured up on the spot, fuelled by the audience's suggestions, ideas, and occasionally, their wonderfully weird imaginations.
