Hilarity Bites Comedy Club

Hailing from Newcastle, Louise Young has quickly become one of the brightest new names on the comedy circuit. She is a regular at clubs up and down the country including the Glee Clubs, Komedia, and The Stand. Louise has supported the likes of Jason Manford and Alan Carr on their nation wide UK and Ireland tours. In 2020, she was nominated for Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, and the following year was nominated for Leicester Comedy Festival’s Best Festival Appearance. Louise was also a finalist in the Funny Women Awards in 2018. Louise has presented a weekly comedy radio show on BBC Radio Newcastle, and at the 2020 Gillard Awards won a commendation for Newcomer of the Year on the station. Louise also wrote and acted in Channel 4’s Original Comedy shorts on three sketches, one of which gained over five million views and went on to receive North East RTS award. David Eagle is one third of three-time BBC Radio 2 award-winning folk group The Young’uns. He is also a stand up comedian, and was awarded New Comedian Of The Year by Leicester Square Theatre, Bath Comedy Festival and Nottingham Comedy Festival. He has supported comedians such as Reginald D. Hunter, Romesh Ranganathan, Tom Wrigglesworth, John Robins and Boothby Graffoe. He sings, he plays piano and accordion, he DJs, he podcasts, he tells jokes, shares stories, and if you chuck in a few extra quid he might do you his sexy dance.

Josh Sedman is a Yorkshire based comedian who has had rapid career progression since 2022, and is an act who has had fantastic reviews wherever he has performed. Comes fully equipped with ‘Wetherby Teeth’ (Yorkshire’s superior version of ‘Turkey Teeth’), a razor-sharp wit, and a lovely head of hair. Cat and Stick comedy’s New Comedian of the year 2023. LGBTQ+ new comedian of the year finalist 2025.
