Comedy is Back in Bingham (after a long, hot Summer)!!
Flat Cap Comedy returns to Bingham in September with another stellar lineup from the UK Comedy Circuit.
Duncan Oakley Headlining the show is Duncan Oakley (a Comedian, Songwriter, Musician, Actor.....and also genuinely a One man band)! With musical skills that would easily fit into many rock bands Duncan Oakley performs an infectious mix of musical comedy and stand up. A musician since the age of six, Duncan has performed on the UK comedy circuit since 1999, appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on BBC Radio 4 and at many summer festivals as well as starring in Beat24’s feature film Frontman and short film Read Between the Signs. Duncan was voted English Comedian of the Year in 2015 and Midlands Comedian of the Year 2016. Duncan performs regularly at some of the UKs biggest clubs and festivals.
Karen Bayley Delightfully saucy, her friendly and confident stage presence combined with a killer wit, an infectious giggle, and some devastating one-liners, make her a comedic force to be reckoned with. Karen has a warm and welcoming, but saucy and spiky, edge. Her bold, no-nonsense attitude strikes a perfect pitch with men and women alike.
Karen has recently been supporting Joe Lycett on his tour.

Anthony Williams Anthony Williams is a Midlands-based comedian whose sharp writing and playful delivery have made him a regular on the UK circuit. Known for his inventive takes on everyday life, Anthony brings warmth and wit to every stage he steps on.
James Abernethy In our rising stars section, we have the wonderful James Abernethy. Stevie gigged with him in 2025 when he was BRAND NEW, and he had a great gig, so we very much look forward to seeing how he is progressing with a year of gigging under his belt.
All held together by Mr Flat Cap Comedy, Stevie Gray, with his upbeat mix of crowdwork, music, stories and jokes.

Featuring - Duncan Oakley
With musical skills that would easily fit into many rock bands, Duncan Oakley performs an infectious mix of musical comedy and stand up with one of his trusty guitars - Maurice (Fender Strat), No 7 (acoustic) or The Lezza (his Les Paul) by his side.
With an eye and ear for the silly, rude, playful and downright irritating occurrences of life, Duncan musters up songs that don't just make you laugh, they bury into the recesses of your mind and find you humming a tune with a smile on your face 3 days later, confused and wondering where it's come from.
He'll blow you away as he powers out a deft blend of stupidity and truly impressive musicianship (he's nifty on a guitar) and you'll quickly warm to his easy confidence and good natured banter. He never fails to put on a show and one with laughs you’ll remember for years to come.

Karen Bayley
Karen began her comedy career back in 2001 and since then she has gone from strength to strength. As resident compere at her own club in Sutton Coldfield Karen honed her comedic talents and is now a well respected comic travelling the country entertaining the masses. Karen was the first ever female winner of the prestigious Comedy Store King Gong award.
In 2004 she took a show to the Edinburgh Festival with Susan Murray where she gained glowing reviews.

Stevie Gray
Oldham-born Stevie Gray is a cheeky and very likeable comedian. Stevie's stage act fuses jokes, music, news stories and audience participation to create an up-tempo energy in any room. Stevie has appeared all over the UK, playing the Edinburgh festival, the Comedy Store, Jongleurs, Glee as well as making regular MC appearances for Funhouse Comedy.
