Static-X were an American metal band from Los Angeles, California formed in 1994. The line-up fluctuated over the years, but always held constant with band founder, frontman, vocalist, and guitarist Wayne Static. On November 1, 2014, it was announced that Wayne Static had died at the age of 48. The rest of the band have come together in memory of Wayne to tour again.
