Voted Best British Sitcom of the 21st century by the Radio Times, Brendan O'Carroll's comedy creation Mrs Brown's Boys has come an awful long way since its humble beginnings on Irish radio station RTE 2FM. Eventually becoming a BBC1 prime time series, the success story was incredible. Numerous awards and accolades followed, including winning Best Comedy at National Television Awards for three consecutive years, BAFTA and TV Choice awards for Best Situation Comedy, and in 2014 it made it onto the big screen with Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie.
