Featuring - Amadou Diagne
After years backing such luminaries as Youssou N’Dour and Cesaria Evora as a percussionist, Amadou Diagne has branched out as a songwriter in his own right, delivering soulful, bluesy songs with an honest intensity that reflect on the joys and hardships of life.
His ‘honey-smoked’ vocals have a beautiful rich tone that can soar from a deep bass to a breathy falsetto in one exquisite phrase. He sings in English, French and Wolof, the language of his homeland in Senégal, West Africa.
