About the show

WCB Comedy lands in Abingdon for the very first time – and we’re not messing about.
After years of sell-out shows across East Anglia, WCB Comedy brings its proven, no-nonsense comedy nights to Abingdon with a line-up that’s absolutely stacked from top to bottom.
Headlining: ED BYRNE
One of the UK’s most loved stand-ups. Star of Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo, QI and countless sold-out tours. Effortlessly funny, razor-sharp, and a genuine heavyweight of British comedy. If you’ve ever said “I’ll catch him next time” — this is next time. And it will sell out.
Opening the show: MIKE GUNN
Mike has toured extensively with major names, played theatres across the UK, and is revered by comics and audiences alike for his immaculate delivery and perfectly judged punchlines. This is a headline act in a “special guest” slot — don’t underestimate how strong this is.
Middle act: INGRID DAHLE
Fast-rising, fearless and brilliantly sharp. One of those acts people always end up Googling afterwards.
MC: JUSTIN PANKS
Trusted WCB favourite. Safe hands, quick wit, and exactly who you want steering a night like this.
This is WCB Comedy’s first ever gig in Abingdon, and if past form is anything to go by, the locals will take to it very quickly. Our shows have a habit of selling out — not through hype, but because people come once… and then don’t miss the next one.
