The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra
Scotland's foremost traditional fiddle orchestra promises a lively evening of jigs, reels and strathspeys, interspersed with heart-rending slow airs and tone poems. The orchestra will be joined by soprano and tenor soloists, young dancers, and pipers. This spectacular show features around 80 performers, and will make you want to dance in the aisles.
The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra returns to York after a period of some 8 years, during which it has performed successfully at several of the UK's top concert halls.
