40th Anniversary Tour: Ducks Deluxe featuring Brinsley Schwarz + This Elegant Chaos
Ducks Deluxe celebrate their 40th Anniversary in 2012.
Since their reformation in 2007, The Ducks also returned to the studio early in 2009 and produced the mini CD, ?Box Of Shorts?. Their first studio recording in 34 years was released worldwide on May 18th 2009. In 2010, the band released ?Smokers & Side Tracks?, a compilation of rare studio and radio recordings. They then released a live set, ?Riviera Shuffle?, recorded in Monaco on May 1st, 2011.
The Ducks have toured widely in the UK, Spain, France and Sweden since their reformation, starting their 40th Anniversary campaign in March 2012.

Ducks Deluxe, featuring Brinsley Schwarz, were a reaction to the malaise of the mid-70s pop scene dominated by glitter/glam rockers. One of the first pub rock bands, Ducks Deluxe breezed in like a cross between the Ramones and the Rolling Stones, playing American-style blues and boogie with remarkable panache and disregard for convention, their unpretentious attitude influencing the English punk scene that was right around the corner. The Ducks reformed in 2007, with a new line-up featuring co-founders Sean
Tyla and Martin Belmont, featured guest Brinsley Schwarz on guitar, bassist Kevin Foster, (ex-Doll By Doll) and drumming legend Jim Russell, (ex-Wild Angels, Inmates, Scotty Moore Trio).
