Anecdotal, observational and refreshingly honest. Gerry differs from many black comedians in that his experiences are not what you'd expect from this Eastender raised in rural Essex. He has played at The Comedy Store, The Bearcat and Downstairs at The Kings Head in addition to TV's Take The Mike and a cameo on Jimmy Carr's Xmas DVD. What you see is certainly not what you get.

Martin Beaumont is a true old school stand-up, a master of the one liner, who can handle anyone from drunken grannies to boisterous rugby players. Having made his name with a whole show devoted to White Van Men at Edinburgh, Martin has expanded his repertoire to include a whole host of subject matter – and all of it funny. He won the Time Out's Critics Choice for Sunspots.
