Blind Veterans UK

By gracious permission of Her Majesty The Queen, Frogmore House Garden, Windsor Home Park, will be open to the public on Thursday 16th May 2013, in aid of Blind Veterans UK, who have been kindly chosen to be the benefitting charity for this event.

Blind Veterans UK believe no one who has served our country should battle blindness alone. They provide vision impaired veterans with access to the finest quality services to help them discover life beyond sight loss. This includes the provision of lifelong welfare support, rehabilitation, training, long term nursing as well as residential and respite care.

Therefore, all proceeds for the Garden tickets will raise vital funds that will allow to keep providing the invaluable services to benefit blind ex-Service men and women.

This is a rare opportunity for garden lovers, day trippers and those interested in royal history and alike to visit this famous beautiful garden and lake set in the grounds of Windsor Castle. During your visit you can enjoy a walk around the garden, with views of Queen Victoria's Tea House and the white-marble Indian Kiosk. Visitors are very welcome to bring their own picnics or can enjoy refreshments within the grounds.

The Head Gardener of Frogmore Garden will be giving guided tours of the Garden at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Places on these tours are extremely limited and cost an additional £3.00 per person. These must be purchased in advance.
