Keep The Home Fires Burning
'Keep The Home Fires Burning' is a commemoration, in music and song, of the Centenary of the outbreak of The Great War.
The show begins in 1912 remembering the very first Royal Command Performance, and continues through the build up to, recruiting for, outbreak and duration of World War One. Songs that were song at home whilst the boys were away and songs that Tommy Atkins sang in the trenches evoke the spirit, the emotions and the down-right bravery of the men and women involved, in whatever way, with the conflict that was thought to be 'the war to end all wars'.
Join us - we'll give you a flag to wave in recognition of those who, not so long ago, served their country in The Great War.
