The Comedy Club Warrington
Host Comedian - Sam Avery
City Life North West Comedian Of The Year: Runner-Up, Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year: Finalist
Sam Avery wanted to be a rock star. It nearly happened. Despite being signed up by BMG Records at the age of 17 (he had to resign from his beloved paper round), and subsequent tours with Motorhead and Ice T, the story soon took a familiar turn.
Opening Comedian - Phil Walker
"You are bonkers!" Des O'Connor
Phil started his career on the tough holiday park circuit working for the likes of Butlins, Pontins and abroad for Airtours and Thompson.
Headline Comedian - Junior Simpson
Big Brother's Big Mouth (C4), Armstrong and Miller Show (C4), Casualty (BBC), The Comic Side of Seven Days (BBC), Love Actually (Film - DJ Role)
With his infectious energy and huge stage presence it is easy to see why Junior Simpson is a circuit favourite.
