Live and Dangerous - Thin Lizzy Tribute

‘Live and Dangerous’ is a band of supremely talented musicians who between them have a wealth of experience on the worldwide theatre & rock circuit. All the boys play in various pro-bands touring the UK, but this is the first time they have all got together to perform what they are calling the ‘ultimate Thin Lizzy show’ – a full live experience of the classic ’Live & Dangerous’ album from 1978, plus more!

In honour to the legendary and sadly missed frontman PHILIP LYNOTT, the band are setting out to recreate the excitement of the classic album which confirmed Phil as the greatest live performer of his era.

The band features:

Greg Hart on Guitar, and Andy Fox on drums, who together have played countless Thin Lizzy tribute shows over the last 20 years and are very well know throughout the country for their time in ‘Limehouse Lizzy’. Greg also plays in ‘The Supersonic 70s Show’ & is chief songwriter in original UK rock band Moritz.

Gary Banton on Bass is best known for his ‘fire breathing role’ as Gene Simmons in the world’s longest running and best tribute to KISS, ‘Dressed To Kill’

Mike Nolan, fellow guitarist is best known for his incredible lead guitar playing with UK rock band ‘Moritz’, a band who are currently riding the crest of a wave with their original music that was first formed way back in 1986 by Mike and Greg! Mike also formed Queen tribute ‘The Bohemians’ back in the 90s.

Finally there is Rick Chase, a supreme vocalist who has fronted both his own band ‘Graffiti’ and legendary Irish rockers ‘Mama’s Boys’, who actually supported Thin Lizzy back in 1983.

Together for the first time, they have set out to re-create the classic Thin Lizzy live album from start to finish, but including the missing songs from the 1976/7 tour, from where the album was recorded.

It all makes for a jam packed show that will take you back to the a time when rock ruled the airwaves and it really never got better than ‘Live & Dangerous’ ….an album that has time and time again been voted as ….
