Into The Woods

This school edition version of the musical 'Into The Woods' with lyrics and music by Stephen Sondheim, is a clever and hilarious adaptation of James Lapine's book.

Intertwining the plot of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales, we follow well known characters taken from classic fairytales such as 'Cinderella', 'Jack and the Beanstalk', 'Rapunzel' and 'Little Red Riding Hood'. Tied together by an original plot, a childless baker and his wife, attempt to reverse a curse placed on them by a witch, and in order to do so, must head 'Into the Woods'.

The story unfolds the hopes and dreams of all the characters through their journey and interaction with each other, in their quest to live 'Happily Ever After'.
