Fragile take their name from Yes's fourth album, which spawned the hits 'Roundabout' and 'Heart Of Sunrise'. Formed in the summer of 1998 when Steve Carney (vocals) had been a devotee of Yes since 1972, and together with Jon Bastable (bass) set out to create the UK's first tribute to this legendary and inspirational act. Now a six-piece, they are receiving critical acclaim across the board from Q Magazine to The Dutch Progressive Rock Page. Fragile are so authentic they have played with Yes guitarist Steve Howe. Expect a complex classically-influenced arrangements, unusual time signatures, virtuoso musicianship, dramatic dynamics, metrical changes and a blend of musical styles.
