Were an English band fronted by Carl Barat of Libertines fame, after the well documented demise of his explosive relationship with Pete Doherty in 2004. Joined in 2005 by fellow former Libertines Gary Powell and Anthony Rossomando along with Didz Hammond of The Cooper Temple Clause, their energetic punk rock fused with elements of reggae kept fans of the Libertines satisfied. However, after releasing two studio albums 'Waterloo To Anywhere' and 'Romance At Short Notice' the band announced their split in October 2008, playing their final shows and UK tour a month later.
