Three fresh-faced Aussies churning out three minute-three chord slacker jingles. BKC are a seriously fun live band, careering through their songs, which seem to have stemmed from extended listens to The Beach Boys, The Ramones and Dinosaur Jr. Don’t expect much in the way of intellectualism, these frat boy rockers sum up their ethos neatly in their doped-out anthem ‘Have Fun,’ in which they opine, repeatedly “I just wanna have fun.” An admirable sentiment if ever there was one.
