Singer-songwriter from Bath, England, Blake began his career fronting indie band Karmatruffle from 2004. He began his solo career in 2006 in order to embrace a more eclectic range of songwriting styles. A multi-instrumentalist, Blake records at his home studio playing all the parts himself. His broad range of influences includes Danny Kirwan, Hammell On Trial and The Bevis Frond. Blake performs live with four-piece band, Blake's 7.
