Mouth of the Tyne Festival
Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott have announced three huge headline outdoor shows for 2015. They will play Dalby Forest in North Yorkshire on 27th June as part of the Forestry Commission’s annual music series in woodland locations across the country. They then play the 8,000 capacity Castlefield Bowl in Manchester City Centre on 3rd July before playing the Mouth Of The Tyne Festival on 10th July which runs annually based at the beautiful and historic Tynemouth Priory overlooking the North Sea and past headliners include Paul Weller and Richard Hawley.
The three shows follow what has been an extraordinarily successful 2014 for the duo. Their album “What Have We Become” has been one of the success stories of the year. Hitting Number 3 in the charts on release, it is the first record Paul and Jacqui have made together since the multi-million selling days of The Beautiful South. The album has just been reissued with additional tracks recorded with the Grimethorpe Colliery Band, including the single “Real Hope”.
