Based on Puccini's La Boheme, RENT tells the story of one year in the life of friends living the Bohemian life in early 1990s New York City.

Fighting against many of life trials like relationships, personal beliefs, work ethics and AIDS the group must find something to embrace in their lives and remember that there really is “no day, but today!”
