Evil In Second Temple Judaism And Early Christianity

Evil in Second Temple Judaism and Early Christianity: Cultural, Historical and Textual Approaches.

As part of the ongoing research program of the Centre for the Social-Scientific Study of the Bible, an international group of biblical scholars will gather at St Mary’s University College in order to present research on the conception and significance of “evil” in Second Temple Judaism and early Christianity.

The keynote speaker will be Professor Loren Stuckenbruck of LMU-München, and will be joined by other invited speakers who will approach the topic from cultural, theological, historical, and textual perspectives.

The event will be held in the beautiful Waldegrave Drawing Room on the St Mary's campus, and members of the public who are interested in this exciting topic are welcome to attend.
