Fatty Foods And Woollen Goods: Selling Scottish Heritage

An evening symposium that takes as it’s starting point the new film by Rachel Maclean. From tartan and tweed to sheepy tourist tat and see-you-Jimmy-hats, a panel of speakers will explore historic and contemporary efforts to package and present Scottish heritage.

Speakers include Rachel Maclean; Alan Riach, Professor of Scottish Literature at Glasgow University; writer/lecturer Timothy C Baker and Gaelic singer Joy Dunlop.
