Breckland Book Festival: Mike Dilger
Mike Dilger is a British ecologist and much loved television presenter who describes himself as “The One Show’s own answer to Dr. Doolittle!”
His new book ‘My Garden and Other Animals’ is the story of how he and his partner Christina transform a piece of land attached to the dilapidated house they buy in the Somerset countryside into an oasis. It charts not just how they overcame challenges and welcome a wealth of wildlife into their garden, but also how their own loving relationship deepens through it.
The book is illustrated throughout by Christina’s exquisite pencil drawings.
