Skyhook

Back by popular clamour, Skyhook are an exciting collaboration of three of the finest acoustic musicians in the UK.

Cath James (fiddle and viola) was a finalist in the BBC Radio 2 Young Tradition Award in 1995. Her playing - warm, driving and precise - has graced stages across Europe and America. Martin Harwood (fiddle, guitar and bouzouki) had the honour of playing for Nelson Mandela in 2000. Eoin Teather is an exquisite accompanist on guitar and bouzouki, and a singer-songwriter with a voice that silences rooms. He too has played with some of the biggest names in Irish traditional music.

Skyhook have a gorgeous sound, with traditional tunes, driving dance music and spine-tingling songs from Scotland, Ireland and Cape Breton plus some sparkling originals, all performed with a breathtaking joy and precision that's hard to match.
