Said The Maiden

Hannah Elizabeth, Kathy Pilkington and Jess Distill are three very talented young maidens starting out on the Folk scene. Already making a splash, they make their music with infectious enthusiasm, bringing their own style and breathing new life into traditional songs. Their voices blend effortlessly in heavenly harmony, either unaccompanied or with tasteful accordion, ukulele, guitar, violin and flute.

They have been blown away by the praise and encouragement they've received from the folk community so far, and in just one year have found themselves playing dozens of gigs around the country, from folk clubs and fundraisers to festivals. In recent months, Said The Maiden have played as support for some big names including The Fisherman's Friends and Dave Swarbrick! Young torch-bearers of the tradition, these ladies are going places!
