The Cadbury Sisters / The 78 Project
A short season combining live music and film to celebrate traditional music.
From campfire singalongs to digital streaming, each generation has found its own way of sharing and discovering music. Now, in partnership with songsfromtheshed.com, The Curzon in Cleavdon and The Courtyard in Hereford, we bring it all together to combine live music, film, installations and digital adventures.
Rising stars The Cadbury Sisters have been bewitching audiences with their perfect 3-part harmonies and dreamy melodies. They play an intimate acoustic set in the bar, before a film (8pm) that embarks on a musical journey across America to recreate some of the earliest recordings of traditional songs using a 1930s Presto 78rpm direct-to-disc recorder.
