Theresa Shaw: Delights Of The Natural World

Theresa was born a city girl, living in Nottingham until her move to Devon in 2009 and is now thoroughly enjoying life by the sea in this new chapter of her life. She has been painting and drawing her whole life and while working in various businesses she has always kept art as her focus, quietly selling work through various outlets. In the last twenty years she has exhibited and sold many pieces of art to private collectors across the world and has shared her love of painting in classes and workshops, teaching ages from six to ninety six.

Her work continues to evolve in different directions whilst always remaining inspired by the natural world and attempting to express that in a unique and personal way. At present Theresa is absorbed in the use of acrylic inks for their brilliant colour and incredible fluidity helping to create truly individual pieces of artwork that reflect how she feels about beauty and life.
