Mike Bartlett Exhibition

Mike Bartlett’s paintings at first glance seem to be representative of familiar things. However, his paintings only imply the real world and don’t represent it. They provide glimpses of the artist’s mental mantelpiece; summaries of chance encounters, and memory. They are also about colour, shape, repetition and balance.
