Children’s Book Award winner, Jacqueline Wilson, OBE & DBE, wrote her first ‘novel’ when she was nine, had Jackie magazine named after her, and has had her books translated into 34 languages. More than 35 million books written by Jacqueline have been bought by readers in the UK. The Story of Tracy Beaker and Dustbin Baby have both been adapted for television.
Jacqueline will tell us a few things, have a chat with us, and answer questions. This will be for one hour. Then, she will kindly stay on stage for a little while to provide photo opportunities with readers and Festival followers. Should you wish to buy signed copies of Jacqueline’s books, these will be available on the day at the Waterstones bookstall in the Arts Centre.
