Esther Rantzen – in conversation, with you. On the 30th of October 1986, on BBC television, the first national helpline for children in the world was launched. That night, more than 50,000 children tried to ring ChildLine.
Broadcaster, presenter of That’s Life!, multiple award winner, campaigner, and founder of the child protection charity ChildLine, Esther Rantzen OBE, is the author of Running Out of Tears, which tells the stories of survivors, with an uplifting and inspiring message: hope and help is within a child’s reach, only a phone call away. Esther will talk about her book, her work, and her life.
