Zena James, Funky Jazz Quintet

With a distinctive soulfull and bluesy approach to standards and lesser-known jazz gems. Vocalist Zena James received top reviews of her debut album "Tell Me More" in 2007, and her follow up CD, "Captivated".

A pop child of the Seventies who turned to jazz, Zena is as inspired by Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Lewis Taylor and Eva Cassidy as by jazz greats like Anita O'Day. Zena has been making her mark on the scene. The Quintet features Simon Allen (Saxophone) and Mike Bradly on Drums.
