They create an indescribably exciting atmosphere of friendly rivalry that encourages great performances. Don Weller"s career started when he he played Mozart"s clarinet concerto at the Fairfied Hall.Croydon.Art Themen has been Stan Tracey"s lead player for the past 20 years.Alan barnes won the best alto prize in this year"s BT British Jazz Awards,
