John Dalton Trio

Originally from Bristol, jazz guitarist John Dalton has resided in Los Angeles since 1985. His early influences were watching the BBC and a show featuring the Canadian pianist Oscar Peterson where he he would play jazz and feature a variety of guests. One night his guest was the jazz guitar wizard Joe Pass.

As a touring session guitarist he played bars and hotels in Denmark and met more similar musicians on the road and as his contacts grew he would end one tour and immediately start on another.He lists his influences as Tal Farlow,Wes Montgomerey,Joe Pass and Pat Martino. John-Paul Gard will be playing organ with John.
