Wearmouth Bridge Zip Wire 2014

The first Sunderland Live Zip Wire challenge took place on April 28th 2013 and was a huge success raising over £13,000 for various charities. Due to a fantastic public response, the 2014 event has been extended to two days over the bank holiday weekend of May 3rd and 4th.

The Zip Wire takes place from Sunderland's iconic Wearmouth Bridge across the River Wear and takes our thrill seekers down to our landing zone at Panns Bank. Fancy dress (provided it fits in with the health & safety rules below) is encouraged but not required!
