Christmas Arts And Crafts Fair

After a break of some years, the Strode Theatre Christmas Arts & Crafts Fair is back.

This pleasant and civilised alternative to the pre-Christmas ‘mad dash’ will encompass the Theatre foyer and bar area, and feature stalls exclusively by local artists and craftspeople, both traditional and contemporary.

At the fair you will find individual handmade items of pottery, driftwood, Christmas decorations, paintings, jewellery, knitting, glasswork, photography, felt and fabric pieces, jams and chutneys, turned wood and much more. There’s a mix for all tastes and pockets, whether you’re looking for presents, stocking fillers, or a treat for yourself.

The theatre bar will be open for refreshments, including tea/coffee and mince pies, and the Strode College car park affords free parking to visitors to the Fair. Plus a raffle to raise funds for The Friends of Strode Theatre.

A visit to the Strode Theatre Arts and Crafts Fair also makes a nice addition to a busy shopping morning in ‘downtown’ Street, which is only a few minutes’ walk away!
