Roller Trio

Few bands have exploded onto the UK music scene with the ferocity of Roller Trio. Barely known a few months ago, the Leeds based twenty-something were picked out by 'BBC Introducing' in July, before garnering nominations for the MOBOs and the 2012 Barclaycard Mercury Music Prize 'Album of the Year', and although Alt-J scooped the over-all award at the awards show at the Roundhouse on 1st November, it was Roller Trio's blistering performance that had everyone talking.

The Guardian hailed them as "the best performance of the night" and "a million times more forward-thinking than almost anything else on the list - they create a thrilling cacophony of coiled sax and tightly wound rhythms".
