Stratford Jazz Presents
Its Dom's first visit to No.1 although he appeared at the White Swan with Lee Jones. Dom formed the Strayhorn quartet as a vehicle to play his original groove-driven compositions and the album Native Tongues was released in 2012. Modern and accessible jazz with stylistic influences ranging from Kenny Garret's energetic post-bop, the harmonically adventurous sounds of Robert Glasper and the Afrobeat of the Parisian Goutte-d'Or.
