Body And Soulmates / Bus Pass To Peterborough
The New Eye Theatre Company is touring two new short plays written and directed by John Gleeson.
The double bill opens with comedy 'Body And Soulmates' which features Tim Hall and Jak Quartermaine as two hospital porters awaiting a night time call to carry out a nervous duty. Their tentative expectation reveals their fears and aspirations.
The second play is a comedy/drama 'Bus Pass To Peterborough' which features Helen Fraser and Rob Johnson as an unlikely couple forced to wait together in an isolated rural bus shelter. Their “chalk and cheese” lifestyles expose comic contradictions and deep felt sadness.
