As 2014 comes to a close, it's time for the annual return of The Idiot Savant Christmas Pageant with The Idiot Savant Christmas Band in The Georgian Theatre!

Considered as one of the essential events n the Teesside's festive calendar, it's certainly a carol service like no other when one of The Georgian Theatre's old favourite frequenters Idiot Savant return with their annual Christmas Pageant. After disbanding almost nine years ago, the much-loved Teesside troupe now reform once a year to celebrate the festive season with a good old-fashioned sing-along.

Expect songs from right across the Christmas canon; classic carols, folk songs and as well as lashings of your favourite X-mas number ones, performed in the band's own inimitable style with a host of guest musicians and singers. The combination of the band's creative takes on well-known favourites and their on-stage comradery makes this event enjoyable for a variety of audiences.
