It takes a very special kind of British bluesman to sweep into Memphis, Tennessee and make an almighty impression at the Blues Music Awards, but Ian Siegal is that man. In 2012, his album The Skinny was nominated for Best Contemporary Album - the first time a UK artist has ever received such an honour. Since then, Ian has seen his seventh studio album Candy Store Kid - recorded in the hill country of North Mississippi - receive further critical acclaim.
