English Youth Ballet

Janet Lewis’ production of Coppélia is a delight. The ballet combines the romance between Swanilda and Franz and Swanilda’s jealousy of the doll Coppelia. Enjoy the story of the eccentric doll maker Dr Coppelius whose greatest desire is to bring his favourite doll Coppelia to life.

It is a witty, humerous, sparkling classical ballet with internationally known principal dancers, Amy Drew and Brenden Bratulic, dance the leading roles of Swanilda and Franz, and supported by a large cast of one hundred local talented young dancers.
