Stevenage Choral Society, A10 Orchestra

Stevenage Choral Society and the A10 Orchestra will perform "The Peacemakers".

The Peacemakers ... offers inspiration and solace for a time in need of both. Features texts from some of the greatest peacemakers throughout history, including Gandhi, Martin Luther King Junior, The Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa, as well words from the Bible and Qu'ran.

This piece is full of Jenkins marvellous melodies and harmonies and is a joy to listen to (it's first performance was in 2011). If you enjoyed "The Armed Man" you should enjoy this.
