Celebrating a remarkable 22 year partnership, Steve Knightley and Phil Beer have sold out the Royal Albert Hall four times, headlined major festivals from Glastonbury to WOMAD, played all over the world, from Europe to America, Australia and India, and are triple winners at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards (Best Duo, Best Original Song and Best Live Act).

The jury is still out on exactly what kind of music they play. A genre defying mix of rock, roots, blues, country and traditional and often influenced by the music of other countries, it is played out on a huge range of instruments from slide guitar to fiddle, mandolin to South American cuatro.

Joined by Miranda Sykes on double bass, they have become one of the acoustic roots scene’s major players, widely recognised for their resonating original songs, stunning musicianship and remarkable audience rapport.
