D-Day 70th Anniversary Concert
Adoramus Choir and Orchestra in association with the Royal British Legion and with compere Revd Kevin Bell, Assistant Chaplain-General (London Division) British Land Forces, presents an inspiring concert to commemorate this significant event.
The programme includes an inspiring variety of styles including: the world premiere of a new presentation of Danish composer Alex Poelman's 'D-Day'; the theme to 'The Longest Day'; the 'Hymn to the Fallen'; 'The Phantom Regiment'. excerpts from J.S. Bach's B Minor Mass; popular songs of the World War II period and Elgar's 'Pomp and Circumstance March No.4'.
Adoramus is a highly acclaimed Christian Choir and Orchestra based in N. London. Musical Director is David Hooke.
