South Holland Concerts: Peter Facer, Richard Uttley
Peter Facer is a young up-and-coming oboist who is rapidly making a name for himself as soloist, chamber musician, and concerto player in concerts throughout the country. He will be playing with Richard Uttley, an exceptionally versatile pianist who has won numerous awards and prizes.
The oboe is a most expressive instrument with a long history and varied repertoire, and this will be reflected in their programme.
This concert is supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.
Peter Facer
A postgraduate student at the Royal Academy of Music, Peter graduated with double first class honours from Girton College, Cambridge. A former member of the National Youth Orchestra, Peter is recognised as one of the most talented oboists of his generation.

Richard Uttley
Richard Uttley has won many awards and prizes during his studies. He is a member of the prestigious Young Concert Artists' Trust scheme.
His varied and creative programme links three of the greatest composers of keyboard music with one of the most successful British composers of today, Thomas Ades.
