Josh fought imaginary monsters as a kid but now he is about to leave for a second tour of duty in Afghanistan...
In the kitchen, Chrissie bakes cakes for her son and fellow soldiers. Doug refuses to take part in his son’s send-off and retreats to the cellar, immersing himself in video diaries, facebook pages, as well as family photos past and present. Doug and Chrissie communicate with each other by Skype!
Enjoy both Chrissie’s home baking and Doug’s video-mixing as the two of them struggle to resolve their differences and salvage their family’s future.
Age Guidance: 15+.
There will be an opeional post-show chat with the cast.
Multi Story Theatre Company
Multi Story bring their customary magic to bear in their re-telling of the traditional tale with a blend of live music, magical word-weaving and engaging physical theatre.
Multi Story have travelled the UK and abroad telling their stories in theatres, arts centre and schools and at festivals and in 2009 they were awarded the prize for Creativity at the Prague International Fringe Theatre Festival.
